The AI-ID Manifesto

Any AI. Clear Identity. Real Responsibility.

AI now writes, draws, codes, and decides. It speaks in our voice and creates at our command.

This is not a problem to be feared — it is a capability to be owned.

But as synthetic content fills the web, one question grows louder with every output:

Who stands behind this?

Not "is this AI?" — that question is already too small.
The internet does not lack AI content.
It lacks accountability for it.

A world where anything can be generated, but nothing can be traced to a responsible human, is not a free world.
It is an unaccountable one.

We believe identity should travel with the output — not buried in metadata that vanishes the moment someone takes a screenshot, but visible, durable, and verifiable by anyone.

We believe verification is not surveillance.
Binding your name to your work is an act of ownership, not exposure.
You decide what to sign.
You decide what to share.

We believe trust is infrastructure.
The early web needed a way to prove a connection was secure — and HTTPS became the quiet layer beneath everything.
The synthetic web needs the same for origin and consent.
That layer should be open and neutral.

AI can generate content.
AI can automate decisions.
AI can amplify human capability.
But responsibility does not belong to machines.
Responsibility belongs to the people who choose, authorize, and share what AI creates.

That distinction matters.
And it must remain visible.

So we are building it.

AI-ID lets a person press one button after any AI output and bind it to a verifiable identity — with intent and accountability attached.
Visible on the surface.
Provable through a link.
Surviving the screenshot.

We are not here to slow AI down.
We are here to make it answerable.

Because the answer to "can AI-generated content be trusted?" should not be a guess.
It should be clear.

Because in a world where anything can be generated,
accountability must not disappear.
Identity must remain visible.
Trust must remain possible.
